This is timeless and very beautiful. And while I understand your point below regarding student work, wouldn't you agree that Vivienne herself is pretty good about acknowledging them? I ask in earnest. I just watched another video on YouTube in which she gives her student studio assistants a great deal of credit, and refers to the studio as a "collective." Regardless, there is a clear point of view throughout the years that is all Vivienne. And it is wonderful! Thanks for posting.

sadly the thing that so many people fail to realise is that Vivienne relies heavily on a team of assistants and interns/students who create and realise much if not most of what is produced under the Vivienne Westwood name, this isn't to detract from the fashions, which are groundbreaking, and directional, but there's a lack of understanding on the part of the 'fans' on what it is they're actually looking at/buying/wearing.

Vivienne does not now nor ever did 'fashion' she just makes clothes, beautiful clothes. Of course like inspirational people she inadvertantly influences fashion constantly! VIVE!
