Update 1-7-11 English Budgie Breeding Pair 3

This is an update on my third pair that I setup for breeding. They currently have 5 eggs out of the five eggs 2 are fertile the other three are still too soon to tell. I will keep updating until the babies fledge so keep checking back. Thank you.

hey man, my pair are bonded like they dont stop kissing. we caught them mating twice and she has been in the nest bbox non stop for about 1 week. Does that mean shee is not pregnant?

@toka822 It has silver-white patches.Normal greens have violet patches,i believe it s a spangle,with a little doubt.

@toka822 loose wood chips can be baught in pet smart or some other stores and they are used so that it is more comfortable for the mother to comfort her chicks. Just lay it in there and the mother will rearrange it on her own . Strings and Fluff would work for nesting material also but make sure that the hen would have enough space in there to move around and also it needs a concave bottom so that it's eggs wont roll around .
