Cats bathe themselves with their tongues, of course, but there are some cats in the wild that rather enjoy getting wet. Tigers and Fishing Cats for a couple of examples. Some breeds of cat are also known water lovers, such as the Russian Blue.

This just reminded me to give mine a bath. I wish she was as well behaved as this one just sitting there. I have to hold her in the shower. Believe it or not holding onto me keeps her calm

He's very tolerant and well behaved, just being vocal about the whole thing to remind you he really isn't too crazy about it. What a wonderful cat.

@InweTaralom Actually cats don't have dry skin, they have oily skin. The funky dandruff on some is actually oil buildup. If you didn't wash your hair for months, you'd have oily, dandruff everywhere - that's what it is. Kitties should get a degreasing shampoo to help remove all that oil! Any conditioners would defeat the purpose :)
