  • looks like you only get about 3-5 frames per second, instead of an even flow of 22.

It also appears, buildings where they shouldnt be, notwihtstanding, that your mesh is rather accurate, for that area...why would you want google blocking up your bandwidth?

  • Well, You're right my friend.

But since then I've made two things:

    1) Upgrading to FSX

    2) Upgrading my PC from P4 to Core-2 8500 + 9800 GTX.

Thus, I have no frame rate problems anymore! :)

  • hope i dont get in trouble for this but are those fake clouds covering an area around area 51? i looked all over and those were the only clouds i seen please respond to my account im very curious am i the only one who noticed this?

  • Hi Eric. I guess you mean the clouds in the Flight-Simulator (the small window). Those clouds are randomly generated by the Flight-Sim's "Weather Engine", which is a very powerful feature of the simulator (built-in). In this demo I picked "moderate weather", that means only a few clouds at high altitude. I could have picked a "stormy weather" which would generate heavy grey clouds with very low visibility, but then you wouldn't see anything but rain.. :-)
  • Nice but, what is your point whit this video? Microsoft use a real world map like Google earth.

Bien pero, cual es tu punto con este video?

Microsoft usa mapa del mundo real como Google Earth.

  • Ferfaktor, In general you're right.

But actually, Google Earth resolution is much higher

    than MS. (about 2 meters).

That means that when you get closer to the ground

(less than 2000 feet), in MS-FS you can only see

the scenery's simulated objects, or very blurred

terrain, while in Google Earth you can see sharply

a high-resolution realistic picture, as if you

were sitting in a real air-plane and watching through the window

  • Is a replay retard

  • Can someone tell me how to obtain the toolbar in flight sim?

  • Enter in the Google earth flight simulator challenge, hosted by firebolt5191. Here you can try to achieve the highest altitude in Google Earth and compete against viewers worldwide

  • You Know Many People Like To Play FS With Google Earth But I Think FSX And FS9 Just By Themselves Is Enough For Me And The Runway Graphics On Google Earth Don't Look That Good!!!
