From Esthers 1976 album "Capricon Princess". Soul and blues singer, an influence on many other artists including Aretha Franklin. Born Dec 23, 1935, died Aug 7, 1984. During the 1970s she made a temporary move into disco material and scored an international hit with "What A Difference A Day Made", an updating of the 1930s jazz standard.

I have sweet memories of "my Candy",sweetest thing that ever walked God's green earth! And I told him that too,and showed him the very best I knew! I know he was mine 'cause I kept him happy,know he was happy 'cause...........! God rest his mellow soul,haven't found anybody as wonderful as that man.Thank you for the song,Esther was and is one of my favorites.

If the man is treating you right; why in hell would you wait to let him know how you feel. And all the testing that you do runs him away! Another woman will treat him better and also tell him.
