Some years ago I was in this wonderful northeast German town. My friend, who was the lover of his music professor´s wife played this suit. Do you know who formed the band? my friend (flute), the professor (bass), the professor´s wife (piano) and my friend´s girl friend (drumms). Great quartet! I was the only one (besides my friend) to know what was going on. So, I will never forget this piece.

si en realidad ya busque y no la consigo...digo para descargar gratis (comprando si). una vez baje una pero estaba mal el escaneo y cuando la imprimi luego me di cuenta que habia bastantes partes que no se leen bien

Tampoco me gustó la ejecución del pianista, demasiado rígido y concentrado en la partitura, creo que le faltó ensayar más. Además pierde el ritmo en varias ocasiones. Apoyo el comentario de que se necesita un trío para tocar esta suite como se debe.

Bolling sounds so much better when you've got a full jazz trio. That way you can actually feel the transitions. These guys do good, but don't swing it quite as much as they could with a proper trio. I played drums on the suite for violin and trio with a combo something like seven or eight years ago. Honestly, it's way too rigid to be any fun for a jazz player. Bolling left absolutely no room for improvisation, which is definitive of jazz.

Jazz from sheet music. Hmmm? The pianist hasn't got a clue and is lost without sheet music and can't swing, like the bulk of the classical crowd. It ain't the thing if it ain't got that swing.
