Okay, this might be one of the stupidest things I've ever done musically.
A long time ago in the 90s there was an evil chatroom called #AGNPH. One day we were talking about music and someone dared me to record the entire 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall and share it on Napster (remember, it was the 90s). So I did a really rough recording of 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall on guitar and shared it on Napster and hundreds of people downloaded it even though it was almost 22 minutes long.
Well we all got a laugh out of that. I'm not sure why. It just seemed really funny to us.
Then somebody dared me to do a dance version of the entire 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall. So I did. We all got an even bigger laugh out of that and once again hundreds of downloads on Napster.
I found the MP3 of the song the other day so I decided to upload it here on Youtube. The video footage is just me playing around with some of the effects on Adobe Premier Elements. I've never really done much with the effects on that program. Plus I was playing with the camera on my Toshiba Thrive and the Videocam Illusion Pro software (it's not a bad piece of software but it needs work, I still bought it to support the developer and encourage him to update it).
It also features my little robot. A replica of Mighty Mechanical Robot With Spark which I had when I was a kid. Sadly my replica is a cheap Chinese knock off and not
I recorded this song on a Tascam Portastudio One 4-track cassette tape recorder btw. This was before I had a digital multitrack recorder. Much like my robot the mechanics of the Tascam have since died. My son has it now and uses it as a mixer. I remember when I was recording the demon "Dance Monkey Boy" voice my kids were in the studio with me and they were dancing to the song and when it was over they yelled "AGAIN!".

My god, that was amazing! Either that or I've stroked out completely. One question though. What is it that your Chinese robot isn't? I think you got shortchanged by the Youtube description length.

It isn't working any more. The clockworks have completely disintegrated. It definitely wasn't built to the same standards of the one I had when I was a kid. I opened it up to see if I could fix it but the spring was broken and the gears were fucked. The video footage of him walking in this video is the only recorded footage of it working.
I named the robot Gaydar.
