  • Completely unacceptable! These intelligent, sensitive, and noble creatures deserve another fate when they are not good any more for work. Why should they go to a slaughter house after all the hardships they have faced in their lives? It is unfair, unethical, inhumane, unnature, and only demonstrates how miserable human beings are. Stop these atrocities at once!

  • And its happening all over! Canada, slaughter-houses ain,t no place for a horse, either Mexico. Horses belong in the barn and not in the Food-chain, people. How unconciderate, could humains get? Plz take a look at RICHILIEU parts I-III and you,ll understand the brutal, cruel inhumain procedures that go on in there! Only to feed or tickle one,s taste-buds, OH and Toxic meat, should not even be sold to people. get a life, we don,t need horse-meat, find proteins somewhere else. O.K! tks

  • horse, its whats for dinner

  • The animal food production industry should be more concerned about cleaning up current operations/farms before proposing the slaughter of additional animals. It is sick that these people have no problem brutalizing animals and contaminating our food only to say "we want to go back to killing horses, too, because we are already so responsible". Thankfully more and more Certified Humane and Animal Welfare Approved programs continue to pop up across the US, it is the least we can do.

  • Horse slaughter is a horrific proposition for a number of reasons. Two that top the list are their intelligence and active contribution to civilization for thousands of years and those who want to slaughter them simply have no respect for life or the resources that allow them to exist in the first place. In addition, sadistic individuals exist all along the chain of production and producers don't care how contaminated the supply is - only about their profit.

  • OK now I feel sick to my stomach. What is wrong with people? How can you even begin to speak to these people and moderate your rage?
