Carole Shelyne - BOYS DO MAKE PASSES AT GIRLS WHO WEAR GLASSES (Shindig!) (1965)

NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Liberty 55794) Out of Los Angeles, this 1965 disc is the only single issued by Miss Shelyne who at the time of release was a dancer on the popular teen music show, ABC-TV's, 'Shindig!'. Of all the dancers, Carole was the one who stood out wearing her huge plastic prop glasses. This recording was an obvious attempt to cash in on her popularity. It's a slick, quality production but Don Ralke's Phil Spector inspired arrangement, The Blossoms background vocals and Gold Star Studio's echo chamber were not enough to propel this record to hitsville.
