ASUS are planning on revising the Eee and preinstalling XP, I think they will soon be FLYING off if that occurs because vista is kinda crap.

Seach google for the download, then it will download into your eee pc's harddrive
For bought games...I dunno what to do for those..

could anyone tell me how you installed this im planning on getting one of these compss soon. I want to get teh one for like 250.00. it has like a 160 hard drive and a g of ram. anyways there is no disk drive so how should i go about this

did you install xp on it like you would any other pc or did you have to do tweaks etc.

You don't have to do any tweaks if you don't want to. All you need is an external USB CD/DVD drive. If you want to save space you can take out components from XP that you know you won't need using a program like nLite.

I went back and forth about it for a month or so and finally ended up getting one. I love it. The default OS kinda sucks - it's really limited to only email, web, and a few games, and most of the "Applications" on it are just links to web pages like Google Calendar and Google Calc and stuff. You do have the option of enabling KDE on the default Linux OS, which makes it a little better, but once you put XP on it it's actually a pretty capable machine.
