Part 1 of 2 of my longplay videos of Quake 2, I'm so glad I can upload videos this long now. Enjoy!

Game Info:
Quake 2
Developer: ID Software
Released on December 9, 1997
Original Game used, no source ports

Plot
Quake II takes place in a science fiction environment. In the single-player game, the player assumes the role of a Marine named Bitterman taking part in "Operation Alien Overlord", a desperate attempt to protect Earth from alien invasion by launching a counter-attack on the home planet of the hostile cybernetic Strogg civilization. Most of the other soldiers are captured or killed almost as soon as they enter the planet's atmosphere, so it falls upon Bitterman to penetrate the Strogg capital city alone and ultimately to assassinate the Strogg leader, Makron.

Some Notes:
I played through the game trying to get as many secrets as possible.
I apologize for the grain in some spots that must be Youtubes problem though it could also be due to sony vegas.
I do try to use some short cuts with Grenade and rocket jumping.
I try to use every single weapon for certain situations.

  • i always thought quake 2 was a fail and more like an acclaim/midway game than an Id

  • took me about 10 goes to find a quake 2 video where the music is playing. Well done

  • i have a demo of this on my phone, starts at 7:02 but idk how long it goes for because it crashes after about 20 seconds. :(

  • You got two thumbs up for playing this game with the original soundtrack. Seriously, I'm wondering how many people knows that there's actually a great soundtrack for this game... ? Steam doesn't sold the game with a fix for the music, a shame. Anyway, impressive video. One of my favorite FPS of all time, ID Software were beasts back in the day...

  • @DarkShadowRage2

    Really?? Shocking!!!!!!!!

  • @nephildevil WTF? Hes not even that fast!

Not to be an asshole but if its too fast then u should stick to slow, causual games with hitpoints self-regeneration like new CoDs. Lol.

  • awesome game though Quake 1 was better

  • they don't make games like this anymore.

    R.I.P duke nukem forever
