  • There are revealed simple solutions, which are already used in many countries. The big problem of Brasil (I believe) is the access to inspect such areas. For this reason, satellite and aerial imagery helps a lot. The more important thing is to involve communities and other stakeholders to participate in this process. Ideas of applying existing solutions always are brilliant :)
