  • @jamiejujamie Hmmn It seems to be going up here where Im at I got 2 last weekend and am going out right now. I only troll deep for big females in Nov. Hey good fishin to ya!

  • @Trashfished Was good:) The pike population seems to be going down though

  • @jamiejujamie Well how did you do pike fishing??

  • Pike fishing tomorrow hopefully, got afew lures but i'm a complete noob. Wish me luck!

  • what would you recommend for hooks or lures?

  • Is a Med/Heavy rod to light for trophy size pike? Or should I go with a heavy power rod?

  • thats very true. I'm intrigued about the dvd but like you I also do not want to pay lol.. I'm thinking "how to catch giant northern pike" is the dvd title, similar to if you search for a movie title, you see the trailer, not the actual movie..

  • @abucompre Might have something to do with the Title! "How To Catch Giant Northern Pike"

If it was called "An Ad for DVD", I wouldn't be complaining, now would I? LOL

  • @ElBote54 its an ad for the dvd, I don't get why people repeatedly say that 10# will do, it will catch the fish but why take the chance? That pike is going to hit your lure whether you use 60# or 6# if you're in the right spot using the right presentation. the difference is not tiring the fish to the point of capture myopathy and actually having that resource available to catch again.
