December 2, 2006: The Radiation Kings played their first show in nearly seven years. The band broke up in early 2000 after playing to mostly empty clubs during their tumultuous Y2Kings tour with King Django.
This video is a follow-up to my film, "Tour," which documented the Y2Kings tour. It investigates why the band members--teenagers at the time--went on the tour, why the band broke up and what effect the tour's experience has on their present lives.

a band I used to play in broke up. Maybe we'll get back together in 7 years. I would be nice, as we were just starting to get tight when the drummer and rhythm guitarist had kids (children are the death of a band BTW). We were heavy before, and when I heard some of the stuff that was written after the kids were born....it was "dad" music, and to be honest, incredibly lame.

it amazing that the guys didn't become very famous...somehow they missed it...they were one of the best ska bends of the last 20 years but all we have is their past recordings...what a shame...
