As per title, iPod Shuffle 3G vs 2G. In a nutshell, both products are extremely nice to use. The only thing that it comes down to is the price.

  • what is better? green or silver?

  • lol - go for which ever colour you prefer. both are exactly identical for features, the only difference being colour. i would personally go for silver as scratches wouldnt show up that easily.

  • I think it's too small, or atleast, it should be big enough to retain the contros on the device. I'm not sure which one to buy, so someone who owns BOTH generations, 2 and 3, please message me with some help (I will use it while jogging if that helps). Thanks.

  • Go for the 2nd gen - physical buttons help and if your going to be jogging, ideal.

  • I see that you just recently purchased a 2g iPod shuffle too. What do you plan on doing with it now that you have the new 3g one? Wouldn't its use be a bit redundant?

  • The new 3G one isn't mines.

  • i got a ipod touch 4g and a 2g model a blue one Its great!

  • I have an Belkin Adapter for my 3G and now I use my Creative EP 630 / Philips SHE 6000 for it

  • why the hell did apple get rid of the 4gb model in the 4th gen?!

  • I bought a 1gb 2nd gen off my brother for £5. I'm using it as a second/spare iPod. I obviously couldn't fit my whole library onto it, so I checked a box in iTunes that coverted all the tracks on the shuffle to 128kps, I was reluctent at first, as I like to have great sound quality, but after reading that most audiophiles couldn't tell much difference between 128 and 320 kps. Instead of getting 108 songs onto it I got an amazing 159 onto it. Nowhere near my whole library, but a great improvement.

  • the day of my birthday !

  • the only BAD things is if the remote control not workin u cant use with it....shit!!!!

  • I'm very happy to buy an Ipod Shuffle 2g from my friend last three days ago.

Shuffle 2nd Gen is ok, but the 3rd is good.

  • @sweet10122 I have all of them (the touch, nano and shuffle) and I use the shuffle the most
