  • Sorry, not true. Betty Ann Lynn is 7 years older than Peggy McCay, retired and living - for real - in Mt. Airy, NC, the 'model town' for Mayberry. Her last TV role was a recurring guest as Sarah on Matlock, with Andy Griffith, of course.

    Peggy McCay is currently 'Caroline Brady' on daytime "Days Of Our Lives". Her last major evening TV roles were on "Judging Amy" and "LA Law".
