The Fantasy Device pt 2

Gotta give credit to the short documentary I use clips from in this. Channel 4 in Britain had a 2 season miniseries documentary show called "The Dark Side of Porn". Its main focus was pretty much all the bad things about the medium of film and video. During their Second season they made one show dedicated to Snuff film and called it "Does Snuff Exist?", I found it to be amazingly well done and put together more proffesionally then almost any docu. I have ever seen. So thank you to them.

In a few Days I will make a video talking about the main Issue I wanted to present to you about Cannibal Holocaust

Not really sure about your label of “misplaced music” in the film though. But hey - maybe we can debate about it some time.

have to view this film in the historical context of the mondo films and early exploitation films that came in the 50's,60's and really 70's under the guise of world documentary. Cannibal holocuast was just really a mash up of influences of prior mondo films. One aspect of the film that was interesting is that it showed that the supposed civilized Americans who grew up in western culture were as barbaric as the natives. Actually provoking the natives.
