@Slowflake Okay that's true. But still it was doing a bit more damage than Bullet Seed and Astonish, if he just kept doing that the Torkoal would've fainted.

But in the regard of "Why the hell is he not using Combuskens Double Kick?" is that one of the beefs you had in that moment as well?

Actually, that burn activated guts, so it probably hindered him more then helped him.

The first Aeroblast had a 1 in 20 chance, the first Stone Edge had a 1 in 5 chance, then 1 in 20 again, then 1 in 5 again. Multiply all that together, you get 1 in 10000.

Hey, don't diss Venomoth. It's actually pretty decent, especially now that it has Quiver Dance. If anything, Ariados should've been the one to get dropped.

@Slowflake And while I'm wishing for things that won't happen, I want Poison to be a useful type (suggested way to achieve it: make Water and possibly Fighting weak to Poison, and make being afflicted with poison halve Special Attack like a burn halves Attack) and a jetpack.

@Slowflake Man, the number of times I've had to stop myself because I remembered that the physical/special split only arrived in Gen IV... just goes to show how much of a gamechanger that generation was. Now we need a concerted effort to even out the physical/special balance in each type - there's still not as many special moves in originally-physical types and vice versa.

@ericsigil How? Retaliate was only added in Gen V, the same generation Tackle got itself improved from 35/95 to 50/100.

I actually cant say anything like 4 attacks like that missing with me, but i do have a 6 tackles missing and making me die with retaliations x.x
