You should get regular tubular track. I agree that fastrack is really expensive. Just wait until you go to buy a switch. In my opinion, you should switch to either O or O27. I use O27/Super O myself and Ive never had that much of a problem with it.

i have a steam engion like that and the gear sliped out of place. i fixed it and then it started shootin spark out of the driving rods. im not kidding it was. any advise on whats wrong with it from anyone would be nice.

My layout is 8x6 feet and I think the fastrack is great too, but sometimes I wish I had used the plain three rail because it is a lot cheaper, I have to save my money a long time to buy fastrack.

My layout is 4' by 8'. I haven't put any videos of it on youtube though... I have a 2008 Railking 4-8-4 Daylight. Oh and no offense but Realtrax is basically the same thing except it doesn't rust and is a little cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion, hope you like the Daylight I am thinking of asking for that for Christmas, that or the El Capitan.

Thanks for watching. This video is a year old and since then I have added to it and gotten it off the floor, it takes up my mom's whole garage and she says no bigger.
