it goes black as soon as it would start to download, however, on my g1, it just comes up with a download unsuccessful....every time. does this trick not work with the 1.6 os?

if you haven't gotten it already.....you go to setting>security and location>set unlock pattern......then when you save it...it going to check require pattern and you just check use visible pattern so everytime your phone lock you have to put that pattern in
