If that doesn't seal the deal, nothing will.

Notice the pianist, Dalies Frantz. He was called "the foremost American-born concert pianist of the 20th century." He taught many of the great concert pianists of the following years after he had to stop touring because of illness.

This is another song I have to revisit. Nelson sings this so beautifully. I actually prefer this version to Chaliapin's, whom he admired in his day. After all Eddy was an opera singer long before Hollywood discovered him!

Thrilling - a truly moving rendition of a powerful song!

Magnificent! Almost as good as the original version (Feodor Chaliapin's)

I wish my Dad could see this. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

Невероятно, но он поет на русском языке, это очень сложно, просто прелесть, обожаю этого актера.

this still sends tingles down my spine every time I hear and see Nelson Eddy singing it.

Great! Thanks so much for posting this. I used to watch this all the time, but then it disappeared from this site. Thanks for putting it back up. This is one of Nelson Eddy's best songs. Those amazing low notes . . . and that ending. Wow! Thanks again!
