This video was posted back in October of 2008 just after John McCain announced that Sarah Palin would be his running mate .. Joe wrote the song and I suggested that we make a video, as I had just bought my Flip Video Camera. Mike said he would post it on You tube. It was on for 2 and a half years and had over 20,000 views. It was taken off a few months ago, however Joe read that on some polka web sites people were still looking for it.Well I sat down and found the original, edited it, removed the out takes at the end and I have returned " I'm in love with Sarah Palin" to youtube.  "Sarah" and its sequel, "I'm still in love with Sarah Palin," had dozens of interesting comments from around the world. Some can still be read on sites like Mudcat.org, an international folk music site, which printed the text of each version. It also received much mainstream media recognition ; i.e. from WNBC TV, which proclaimed it , "favorite political song of the year," salon.com, the nation's leading political blog + many more ( To see these, google "I'm in love with SP polka") .

Thanks for bringing back our original "Sarah" video, Chris, which did have about 25,000 views when it was unfortunately deleted last year by a volunteer administrator. How great that you "have our" ( and Sarah's) back." This one was particularly dear to us because it was our first you tube video ever, and because it took our little song to places we never expected ( a tribute to the power of you tube-- more below).
