Haiti's agricultural sector is considered to be one of the most inefficient in the world. For decades, the United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP) has been working in the country, trying to improve food production.

But despite its best efforts, hundreds of thousands of Haitians continue to rely on food handouts.

As Teresa Bo reports from Gonaives in Haiti, last year's devastating hurricane season has only made matters there worse.
