I was taking metformin for five years. I suffer from headaches, severe palpitations, dizziness, muscle weakness, fatigue. And so I stopped it yesterday. And you know what? All those symptoms subsided. The only bad thing is my sugar is 125 when I woke up. I HAVE to change!!!! I WANT TO change. so basically I should stay away from all refined foods, breads, processed foods. No more!!! Everything will have to be made from scratch, The government is making diabetes happen. To make money

@Pickleton.........gullable, you wouldnt know gullable if it smacked you round the head!....whats gullable is that most outsource the responsibilty for thier health to greedy governments and corporations(yes your doctor works for a corporation) and think that they give a shit about anything but massive profits and control. ha...gullible. next you will be telling me there is no cure for cancer!

How misleading is this.. Lol this is for Type 2 diabetes. Non insulin depentdent people require dieting as a way to lower their blood sugars, that and excercise.. Its not a miracle this has been around forever I however have type 1 diabetes, i have for 38 yrs. I require diet, excercise adn insulin by injection. So really the title needs to be changed to what the host says in her frist sentence, can cure..or " keep in check" type 2 diabetes

@Pickleton if you do not believe that fast food can harm you then your just as foolish as so many people that continue to eat this junk and continue to live overweight and ill all the time and on the border or already passed the border of become a diabetic. If you do not believe that living this way can reverese something watch Dave the Raw food trucker here on Youtube he got off his diabetic meds in 4 days. Raw Living Foods have the ability to heal. Cooked dead/processed foods DO NOT!

news flash: if you go from mcdonalds 3 meals a day and no exercise to raw food 3 meals a day and living on a ranch, you're gonna lose weight. also, losing weight helps your body deal with diabetes, it doesn't cure it. if you believe this you're gullible and probably believed that unscientific Supersize Me movie

Can someone confirm if diabetes was cured for that paticular time or permanantly? Is the cure, that ability to cure or free yourself from Medication or does this actually irradicate the desease completely, or does it only work if you continue the lifestyle thereafter.

This will not work in america sadly as your pharmaceutical companies rule your country.

So right, I am what I eat, very healthy and happy!

Is 2:54 the same grumpy old man from 1:23??????
Wait, no I don't think so. But still that's an amazing reaction.
But I have a question. Do these results stay? That is, will they get diabetes within a few days of a normal diet or do they need to stay raw forever? Will they be able to safely enjoy a piece of cake with their family or do they need to be 100% raw forever??
I completely agree that many Americans have disgusting eating habits, but has our anti-processed foods, anti-obesity sentiments gone out of control? At one point, I would consider myself terrified of gaining weight and getting type 2 diabetes(ridiculous considering my weight/diet) but I still feared being one of those fat teens with their head chopped off on the 5 o'clock news as the image of fat. Is a lifestyle of anorexia really better than that of an obese/overweight American?

I don't see how its gotten out of control... cause all I still see on TV and in magazines is a bunch of crap food.
And no, anorexia is not better. But eating REAL food is pretty easy. Fat is a choice. I mean doctor's are now telling their patients that they just "have the fat gene" and there's nothing they can really do about it! WTHECK is that all about? Thats horrible, and gives people no hope. Lets say there is a "fat gene", then that same person better develop the diet & exercise gene
