After World War II, the Meola family shot a series of 16mm silent movies on the Oregon coast. They drove the Roosevelt Highway (Hwy 101) from the California redwoods to Astoria, Oregon, during the summer of 1947. Benton County Historical Society is pleased to share this remarkable video footage from the Horner Museum Collection. www.bentoncountymuseum.org
