I didn't have a Drumometer, so I just played sextuplets at 213 bpm, which would be 1278 as long as there are no "flat flams" or other flubs.

Because of a lot of misunderstanding, let me add that each hand is playing continuous triplets, but they are slightly staggered. The result is RLrlrl RLrlrl, etc. Check out my other videos - most are cooler than this one. And yes, that is the shower that you are hearing.

  • haha sorry dude not doubles there fore you are not the fastest drummer in the world

  • @ovandolah14 You're right - they're not doubles.

  • Pretty much just bouncing the sticks off the head. Not impressive as all!!

  • They are bouncing, but it's a controlled bounce. I'm not sure what it takes to impress you, but you might want to check out my Fast Samba videos - same technique, different application.

  • actually these tips are plastic which cause them do double bounce easier. Record breakers use all wood.

  • @MpZeBoXeR Good one lol! Due to the onslaught of ridiculous comments over the past year, I thought for a second you were serious!

  • Thais doubel strokes you idiot

  • I'm not sure whether this is right, but it seems like he's interlocking double-strokes...which would technically made it a single-stroke roll.

  • thumbs up if you think this guy is a retard........

  • The 2005 rules explicitly state 'no bounces'.

Interlocked bounces, even if they alternate, thus would have disqualified you in 2005. Of course I can't find the current set of rules, so who knows. You should go to a qualifier for WFD and see how you do.

  • pear rah diddle

  • nahh your definitly not the worlds fastest drummer

  • I find it funny that so many jealous adolescents have commented on this video. If you think that these are doubles or press rolls, you need to go back to the basics. The motion of the arm is completely irrelevant, and bringing it up in a counter argument shows a disgusting lack in education. If the sticks are moving in a rlrlrlrl fashion, then it's a single stroke roll, which is exactly what's happening in this video. Please reply to me so I can embarrass you.

  • no it's
