In this video, we look at how to connect an iPod to this VW head unit. We can use the front iPod connection or use the auxiliary connections at the back of the device. The front connection has unit control, the back can be wired for charging and video support on the latest generation iPod.

  • Where can I buy this cable??

  • thanks man, really interesting video! i just don't understand why they didn't make it so that you can control the ipod via the radio touchscreen AND the ipod gets charged + the video function - weird...

that'd be the perfect solution, but I guess I'd go for the auxiliary cable one, it's the better one I think.

  • Hello Yian, just question, how can i get my ipod to get chargered at the same time??
