Peak oil seems to turn the oil market more into a casino for investment instead of a safe haven.

Doesnt mean you cant go for long term investment, for example shares of Royal Dutch Shell are over a 100% higher then 2 years ago.

But peak oil certainly isnt lowering the risks in the market, neither for the investors nor the company's.

Peak oil isnt a guarantee that oil companies can only do well, in fact it makes the whole market much more volatile and unstable (more for short term investments then long term), peak oil also makes it ever more difficult to return investment on new projects cause production costs are rising and at the same time new projects are becoming less lucrative simply cause there are less and less lucrative places left, wich also means company's have to take ever greater risks.

All I know is that while I believe in Peak Oil I also know that Oil and Gas projects can still perform at much lower than expected. That's what happened with me when I invested under the guidance of Bruce Soltani and now regret having dumped $100K into 2 projects which are both failing. Check out my channel to for more info.
