In this video I show you how to install a Glock 3.5lb connector. This will only drop the trigger pull to a 4 - 4.5lbs but makes a big difference when shooting. This is a factory Glock part and it will not change how reliable your pistol is. This is the only internal part I change on my Glock pistols. To get a true 3.5lb trigger pull you will need to install a 4lb striker spring but I wouldn't recommend changing that part if you are going to carry the pistol for self defense.

If you want me to do a video on the striker spring install let me know. I am open for any Glock related video request. Thanks!

  • UPDATE...I found out that the connector was not slightly bent outward like you had mentioned in the video, and as compared to the original connector. A couple of taps with a hammer and I'm back in business. What a difference in the smoothness of my trigger pull! Great video by the way.

  • @dfwtreeguy I'm glad you worked out the problem. Some of the aftermarket connectors like the one ghost sells may have to be filed down a little. The package it comes in use to say that the connector may need to be filed down ut to 1/32. Thats one reason I recommend the factory one but they no longer offer it. Good luck!

  • Thanks for this video. I just put a new 3.5lb connector on my G23 g3. Piece of cake!

  • @kentlacroix No problem at all. I'm glad it was some help.

  • I just installed an aftermarket 3.5 lb connector on my 17 gen3. After function test I discovered that it will not fire. Subsequently, I was unable to disassemble again. After about 15 min of freaking out (and taking off the slide plate and firing pin from the slide locked position), I managed to release the slide. But only while pulling on the trigger with the slide moving forward from the cock/release position, which was very tricky. I retraced my steps and attempted reassembly again. Same th

  • So with a glock connector you do not have to file anything? It seems with the ghost connectors you do.

  • @biafaracity No problem. It will be like shooting a new pistol. Have a good one man!

  • @Glockwork9 ok, when they arrive i am going to try first the connector thanks man!!!!!!!!

  • @biafaracity Don't use the buffer what ever you do. There garbage. Sorry man but its the truth. You don't have to take my word for it look into them a little. There nothing but problems. With just the connector installed you won't believe how great the trigger feels. Try that alone before you try the 4lb striker spring. I'm sure you'll be happy.

  • @Glockwork9 last night i ordered a wolf 4 lb striker spring, the recoil buffer and the ghost connector 3.5lb for my g23 3rd gen,and i carry her after hear that i am considering not to install the new striker.
