Lady In Red Dance Night Before Wedding - Steve & Kayla

We see the amazing chemistry between Steve and Kayla in this beautiful dance scene the night before their wedding. In the scene just before this, Kayla just regained her hearing (she had surgery for this purpose in the weeks before but they were not sure if it would work). So this dance comes after some heavy emotional scenes. This dance has a lot of meaning if you watch the other Lady In Red dance that occured on the rooftop just after Kayla learned she was deaf. That dance was tender and bittersweet (Kayla couldn't hear the music) while this one is playful and sexy - coming full circle from just becoming deaf to recovering her hearing.

I love this scene between Steve and Kayla...The Lady in Red dance before the wedding. It's so special. The joy they're feeling is so transparent.

I love the Lady in Red dances...in particular this one and the one where they dance on the roof after Kayla gets out of the hospital. She can't hear, so they continue dancing after the music has stopped, and the audience hears the street sounds below. Such wonderful moments.

I love Steve and Kayla. Then...and now. They touch my heart.

yes. It was a good SL. Jacks adopted father was the Riverfront knifer and attacked Kayla in her basement. There was an explosion and she lost her hearing In this scene right before this she gets her hearing back. Its the eve of their wedding.

Back when i watched Days. I stop watching when Steve went out the show and Kayla started to like Shane and then Kimberly went away, and then a different person was acting the real Kimberly part. That was way too much drama for me, i like consistency. Plus this Kayla and Kimberly were my favourite characters anyway.

I remember this scene from Days like it was from yesterday. This was either in 1986 or 1987. I used to watch Days of Our Lives with my mom back in the 80s & always loved Kayla & Patch the most out of all the daytime stars. These 2 were my favorites & this scene here is my most favorite scene ever in daytime soap.
