TOM BURKE(THE LANCASHIRE CARUSO) HE WAS BORN IN 1890, TO A POOR WORKING CLASS FAMILY. HE SANG WITH MELBA AND MARY GARDEN TO NAME A FEW GREAT NAMES. HE POSSESSED A THRILLING VOICE, BUT THROUGH LACK OF APPLICATION TO HIS VOCAL GIFT, NEVER WENT FAR ON THE OPERATIC STAGE, WHICH IS SUCH A WASTE. HE DIED IN 1960, PENNILIESS AND VIRTUALLY FORGOTTEN...
ENJOY!!!!!

  • He did have a good voice, but it sounds a bit too operatic for "The Minstrel Boy" if you ask me. (He sounds as if he should've been singing Wagner or something. Probably would've been if he'd had the opportunity.)
