  • A fat lady at my table, who was eating pizza flavored combo snacks, was calling oversized bets, drawing at every flush, and getting lucky. When it came my turn, she called my 150% bets with no hesitation. I told her, "you probably don't want to be doing that." She didn't catch, and angrily replied. "DONT TELL ME HOW TO PLAY MY GAME" I said "calm down, I meant you don't want to be eating while handling casino chips. Some ppl in Vegas don't wash their hands after taking a shit or having sex."

  • "A bluff should be used when it turns out right." Really? What if your balls aren't crystal?

  • @TheDarkSide363 as she said in the video, if they have a hand worse than top pair they will probably fold.

  • @mattyh50 If you know what you are doing, why not? Phil Ivey isn't Chuck Norris.

  • I'm not so sure about number 3... if you have a decent enough read on your opponent, then top pair should sometimes warrant a bet.

  • Common mistake 10: Playing against Phil Ivey

  • @jackritter32 she said if "the terms are right" therefore. know your situation

  • @MarijaneKush the Q or 9 would give you a boat in that spot though, so it's 7 outs. 15$ into 50$ is not giving him the wrong price though, he won't realize your hand. But he'll most likey call atleast half pot, or 3/4. you just have to know your players. Hustle fish all day.

  • Teaching people how to play poker online is difficult why? every hand is situationals.

  • I agree with most of this, but not #2. If you don't try to read on what other players have then you're clueless when it comes down to making important decisions. You'll only be thinking "Oh, I have a good hand so I'll call" not taking into consideration what hand he most likely has. Good players learn how other players play in order to know what the best decisions are. There's basic strategy, such as knowing pot odds, and then there's more advanced strategy, which is playing the player. Ya' know

  • At 4:20 the player actually has 9 outs because there are 13 kinds of each symbol such as the heart and 9 outs on the turn saying that he has a 18% chance of making a flush but still a risky call

  • @aklsuinnow 15 dollars and under, it is the right decision to call, but any higher, it is not.
