Everytime Jon asks this guy a question, he minces his words and brings up new discussion points, to take the heat off him. But this time, for once, a reporter has said wait a second, your not getting away with that, answer the goddam question. It made reghev angry and look like a kid. All Israeli Spokespeople be it Regev, Livni so forth, are all masters of the english language. They are very good at dodging questions and using obscure words to clear themselves. They are in the wrong after al

@oldjoe5 yes, they are weak for the reasons i just stated.
jews are not responsible for israel's actions just like you are not responsible for them, even if your "tax dollars paid for" israel's actions.

Yet Hamas is responsible for everything that occurs in Gaza.

Here is a novel idea. Why don't we apply one standard to everyone instead of one set of rules for Israel and another set for those it calls terrorists?

@oldjoe5 you are knowingly sending money to israel too, like "jews" are. can you control israel's actions like hamas controls gaza? can you prevent anything israel does like hamas can prevent attacks from its territory?

Let's be clear. I unwillingly send money to Israel. Many (most?) non Jewish Americans unknowingly send money to Israel. Many Jewish Americans gladly send money to Israel. Can we agree on these statements and recognize the difference between willingly and unwillingly/unknowingly? Let's not be dishonest and pretend it is all the same.

I have virtually no control over Israel. Hamas has some control over what goes on in Gaza. Surely not total control.

A handful of rockets were fired from Gaza during the ceasefire -- despite Hamas' attempt to end all rocketfire (they did eliminate well over 90% of the rockets)

@oldjoe5 "some control"? what hamas did to that group in rafah showed how much control they have over gaza.
the palestinian elections were delayed because hamas wont allow gazans to vote. hamas have full control and before the war they were stronger.

Yes, some control.

You are pushing the view that they are to be held responsible for everything that occurs in Gaza, which could only be true if they have absolute control of everything that occurs in gaza. Which I find ridiculous. As ridiculous as blaming "the Jews" for everything Israel does.

Yet you do hold Hamas responsible for everything that happens in gaza. And, believe me, when the looming sea change occurs in US views many people will hold all Jews responsible.

@oldjoe5 no, only nazis like you will hold them responsible. and im tired of detailing how much control hamas have in gaza (like the fact gazans cant even mark arafat's death because of hamas) and how they fired dozens of rockets in the days prior to the war.
and how "all jews" have zero control over what israel does.

They will merely be applying the same standard of shared guilt and responsibility as you do. And they will be just as wrong as you are
