I took my CPAT yesterday and I passed! It's tougher than you think, but not impossible. If you are taking this test, I would advise getting on a stair master LONG before taking the test!

no way, 3 minutes are completely commited to the stair stepper, there is no way to complete the other 7 stations in 2 minutes.

The passing time was NEVER 9:34. If you want to know why/how CPAT was created, go to the IAFF website.

No one can modify the CPAT test. It's licensed by the IAFF and cannot be changed. If it was a different test, then it was not the CPAT test.

true - and i've only gone and done PAT's in departments thsat developed their own. But from what i've seen of the standerdized CPAT vs. PDX's PAT - PDX's looks way harder!

The vest is 50 pounds, but when you are on the treadmill they put another 12.5 on each shoulder, for a total of 75 pounds.
