  • can u plz tell me how to boot into safe mode in window vista

  • I don't have Vista, but I read

"To get into the Windows Vista Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key

With some computers if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message If this occurs, instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key" tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu"

I have a virus and it won't let me go in any type of browser.. And it won't allow me to go in safe mode. It deleted Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it keeps downloading more and more viruses by the minute.

  • How come i dont have internet in safe mode? Is there anything i should do when i boot in ?

  • @yerfdog1935 If you do get a virus on a Mac though I'm almost positive that most of the viruses for Macs are less dangerous than the malicious viruses for Windows. Yeah, I believe not allowing cookies will actually help secure your info somewhat. If you don't allow them though then it pretty much blocks you out of everything. Anything with advertisements seems to be the problem. Not only that, I shouldn't talk about it here, but I heard Adult Sites, *cough cough* have a crap load of them.

  • @iclesnowpop Yeah, a lot of it is that the creators of the viruses would much rather create malware for Windows because there are more people who use it, and thus are more likely to get someone infected with the malware.

Not only is it important to be careful of what you download, you also should be careful of what websites you go on. Don't just click a link right away, hover over it and read the URL in the bottom left corner of the browser.
