America: Faded Hopes Faded Dreams

I snapped the photograph in this video a few days ago thinking it would be an excellent visual commentary about the state of families in America.

I put the photograph to the music of Loreena Mckennitt.

In the foreground, you'll notice a child's toy wagon. Vines and weeds and old trees are beginning to cover the house, soon to be forgotten as if it had never been.

I can almost hear Theoden King sighing, "The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this?"

Where is hope; where is hope...it isn't to be found in Washington, D.C., it's in the one true God we left behind as unwanted, undesired. He is the Son of the Most High God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
