It's fair to say during the time of Rumsfeld there was a level down in battlefield intensity and the Taliban steadily regrouped and and restructured after the loss in 2001. Complacency soon settled into the troops. The campaign was taken seriously again, but the Taliban were ahead of them. Simply put it, Afghanistan was of peripheral concern to Rumsfeld.

I am not the troll here. It is common decency for people to provide sources to back up THEIR claim. This is what you do in college. It is not up to the audience or the teacher to prove YOUR claims. It is up to you to provide this proof.

You will get a big fat fail if you tell the professor to go google it for himself.
