This is the fiberglass Delta Force Vortex Hydro. My set up for this run was a Turnigy 36-56 2700kv water cooled motor with an Octura x427 prop. Zippy H 4s1p 5000mah lipo battery. Turnigy 100 amp 12s BESC. Good for about 45mph and 4 mins. of run time.

  • how many mph will it do stock

  • @benchmade556

It ran 45mph with this set up according to the gps.

  • Just about to try my Dela Force Vortex for the first time this weekend on a 4s setup

running the same Turnigy motor as you, with 2 x 2s 5400 etti lipo packs I will be using an etti 150A esc,

would I be safe to run with a 31mm or 34.5mm prop?

  • I would try a 31mm prop first.

Sponsons are like pontoons. they r the part under each side on the front of a hydro.

I just picked up a 31 or so dela force with fiegeo 8Xl.

Sorry suck a noob, but, what in the world is a sponson? I know them on jet ski's but....

    thanks

  • Yes, I used a 5000mah 20c pack, 4s1p. The temperature of the battery at the end of 4 minutes. is around 122F. I use an Eagle Tree Logger to set up my boats, with this motor and prop combo the peak amp draw is around 70 amps. The battery will run the boat longer, but I limit my runs to 4 mins. to keep the battery temp from going to high. I use Zippy 4000mah 4s1p 25c also and they run the same in a 4 minute run. The motor and esc are water cooled, so no problem with temps with them.

  • 4 minutes in hight speed. Very good indeed! Could you tell me the Amp. of the batteries? More than 5000mAh? The temperature was good after run? Thank you in advanced.
