  • its called tabatas

  • @50006972 Tabatas refer specifically to a 4:00 duration of :20 seconds work :10 seconds rest. This particular training was much longer than 8 rounds of 20 second bursts, which is why I would not categorize it as Tabata, though it uses the same work/rest ratio.

  • im a amature boxer...and i recently been really interested in battling rope training...would this be a good training that i should pick up???

this wouldnt mess with my weight would it?

  • @ZG445 It's great for conditioning. My only worry is that it would completely smoke your shoulders which could potentially be better used throwing more punches. If anything it would help you drop weight. In moderation it could be a great tool.

  • Did you do the 2o mins straight or 4 tabbatas with 1 min break in between?

  • @tonglongkid 20 min straight through

    Last Resort by Papa Roach.

  • gostei muito bom mesmo.

  • @FrozenFlame369 lots of upper body training so im pretty sure it would be great

  • I wish i could get some batling rope. I volunteer at a fire department so maybe i could pick up some old and defective fire hose

  • Hahaha thought I recognized Gravel Pit in the background

  • hell yeah bumping wu-tang

  • @FrozenFlame369 Yes.

  • @ty99999returns (waves for 1 minutes, side to side for another min, grapplers throw for one, circle rotation inward for the last) your cardio [witch im assuming is ur pushup squat] u can mix it by using putting ur fight in hanging ropes given ur training at a combat sport place and do crunches and do squats with a sand bag as a separate exercise or step ups with weight. what u doing ur body will adapt to it and it will become easy and not much gains after like the first month.

  • to mix things up a bit u should do some of the exercises for longer with the rope like for 4 minutes then do ur pushup squat for 4 minutes keep mixing it up for different training seems like what u doing is easy for u.

  • would this type of training be good for a greco roman wrestler ?

  • @themax17

i know what tabatas are, this is pretty much a superset of tabatas, totally insane and excellent way of conditioning. much respect to you and good luck with your fight.
