The jump always looks more impressive too, but I've also read that your arm throw can add 20% to your jump, and the technique for head jumps just seems weird haha... Sick when you see guys get their head up to a basketball rim though... freaks.
but yeah we both have a way to go before getting to elite level ! i will be happy when i can do a 60 inch box :p
i agree with you about the variables. i know how much i extend my arm so it is good for me to personally track my progress. I recently read about hanging something above and trying to hit your head on it for the most accurate measurement.
@bobbyatopk Yeah it is, but hard to compare over the internet, because of arm extensions and what was used to measure it. For example all I have to measure it on is by marking on a wall. The wall throws you off a bit from jumping your max. Also I don't know if people test it shoulder in socket or shoulder out of socket... Either way I still got a lot of work to do. My jump is mediocre at best for high athletic standards ;)
