USB FM TransmitterIt is so pleasant to listen to some music in the car or at home after a hard working day. Now the choice of music is so wide, that everyone can find something to their liking. Currently music encoded in the mp3 format is widely spread. Among the common lossy digital audio data compression formats it is the most popular one. Mp3 files can be played on computers with almost any popular OS. The format is supported by most portable audio players as well as by all modern stereo systems and DVD players. Still, sometimes it's not convenient to burn CDs with mp3 files. For example, we have a good receiver with speakers at home and want to listen to some music suiting our mood. What do we do in this case? Here we can use a specialised device - the USB FM transmitter model BM2080. This micro transmitter can transmit any audio file from your PC to an FM radio. The range of coverage is several metres. The device is a USB dongle that can be plugged into a USB port of a PC. It receives its supply voltage and the digital audio signal via the port. The radiated frequency of BM2080 is stabilised. It depends neither on temperature and humidity changes nor on the position of the antenna. The four micro switches situated at the end of the device help you choose one of the fixed transmission frequencies. All the operating frequencies are at the edge of the FM broadcast band (at about 88 MHz). As a rule, this part of the band is not occupied by radio stations. Normally, a 20 cm piece of wire serves as the antenna for the device. If necessary, it can be made longer. We want to add that the radiated power is minimal (it is hundreds of times lower than the radiated power of a mobile phone). This is why the transmitter is absolutely safe for people and domestic animals. It doesn't interfere with the work of TV sets and radios. The device is very compact in size thanks to the use of the surface mounting technology. Another important feature is that it doesn't need any software or drivers to work. Just connect it to a standard USB port and play any audio file on your computer. The audio file will automatically be transmitted in the FM broadcast band. The USB FM transmitter model BM2080 will help you relax and rest after a day of hard work.
