Ray Charles' Don't Need No Doctor performed by Stalie & Knight

I don't need no doctor, but I sho' nuff need some Ray Charles. This is Stalie & Knight's version of the bespectacled one's classic blues track. We did this in one take and if you can't tell we've got a lot of time for the blues.

Stalie does the singing and Mr. Knight plays the guitar (Stalie aslo painted the picture on the wall which she is quite proud of and insisted on mentioning). We are a duo who do this mostly in Exeter, Devon, UK.

this is great. i love the vocal-guitar duet arrangement performed here. it fits the lyrics very well, which are performed compellingly and expressively, yet tastefully. as my cousin billy joe says, 'yall got a rilly good feel for them blues.' i agree with his assessment, as the singing and guitar-playing work together to create a sanctified sound that is kept to its essentials. This highlights the exceptional talents of the performers Stalie & Knight, and surely makes Ray Charles, RIP, proud.
