I doubt of those dancing were American as the video does little to give away the geographical location.
As for a great Irish song? This is a song about people leaving LIVERPOOL which is in EMGLAND for a better life, it may have had a few harp strings and tin whistles over it but it cannot be given pure Irish symbolism.
I say well done to a team who perfected their choreography to a song which suited being sped up for the purpose of dance.
And whether it's an Irish english or Portuguese song
