Actually, it's a movie, not a second season. The trailer for the Trigun movie is already out on youtube if you need proof.

Trigun Maximum is the second season to the manga version isn't it? The owner of Trigun is actually still producing the animated version of a second season for Trigun. The same thing also goes for the owner of Outlaw Star which I'd love a second series for that anime as well as Cowboy Bebop.

Gungrave yet another classic and original kickass anime EVER! Too bad there was no hot ass female elite necro guard that Brandon Heat aka Beyond the Grave could have fought in the series.

Yep! :) Yasuhiro Nightow, the author of the Trigun manga, also designed the characters and help wrote the story for Gungrave (there are subtle references to Trigun in Gungrave if you pay careful attention. Ex: The skull on Grave's coffin/suitcase gun looks like Legato's skull shoulder). Also, Madhouse animated and produced both of these anime, and Tsuneo Imahori provided music for both of these anime!

trigun is my favorite anime XDDD

Mines too! Vash and Wolfwood are my most favorite characters in anime/manga. The story, the philosophy, th drama, the comedy, the music, almost everything about Trigun I will always love and cherish. My only problem with Trigun is that the ending could have been..welll..could have used more closure. :( Btw, have you seen the trailer for the Trigun movie yet? It's made me SO excited!

I finished both Trigun and Trigun Maximum. ;) I agree, the manga is more complete than the anime, but the anime will always have a special place in my heart.
