I was just wondering when I was in Highschool 1972-76 a couple of my Buddies had 442's one was a 69 the other was a 70 Both had posi. I had a 69 Buick GS that also had posi . I always thought that most of the mussle cars of the 60's and 70's had posi.

Perhaps it didnt come from the factory with posi. Depends on how stock he wanted his resto to be....

All W-30 442's came with a limited slip this one was just a bit weak and needs a rebuild.

Mine would do that until I got it tightened up with a new clutch pack and tight springs. It probably just needs a rebuild.
