nicely-shot video, you can actually see the fry grabbing the worms!

Actually microworms live for up to 24 hours in water. At least, that's what I've read. Although it looked like that you had a lot of microworms at the bottom, so much that the fish got confused which to pick :p

Are those betta fry? I was feeding my with microworms only, and at the end they didn't develop ventral fins and had swimming anomaly. So after that i never used microworms as primary food, but artemia.

I can not find anywhere to buy the Starter Culture .... is there any other way to make these these worms ???

Cool! Thanks!
Can you just dump the microworms into the aquarium so fishes will always have food?

@sdgsdf45 No, you can't, because microworms need air to live. Once in the water they will drown and die quickly, and rot at the bottom of the tank. That will kill your fry VERY fast. You have to feed just what the fry will eat in a few minutes, because they won't eat dead worms once they drown. Breeding bettas is not easy, it takes a lot of work and commitment. No shortcuts!

I had 2 spawns, one blue and one white, in the tank together. So yeah, the white thing is a white fry. Unfortunately none of them lived...I'm still learning!
