  • Can you just dump the microworms into the aquarium so fishes will always have food?

  • @sdgsdf45 No, you can't, because microworms need air to live. Once in the water they will drown and die quickly, and rot at the bottom of the tank. That will kill your fry VERY fast. You have to feed just what the fry will eat in a few minutes, because they won't eat dead worms once they drown. Breeding bettas is not easy, it takes a lot of work and commitment. No shortcuts!

  • what is that whit thing is it a fry?

    is it dead?

or is that just the color?

  • I had 2 spawns, one blue and one white, in the tank together. So yeah, the white thing is a white fry. Unfortunately none of them lived...I'm still learning!

  • nicely-shot video, you can actually see the fry grabbing the worms!

  • @Greymoya

Actually microworms live for up to 24 hours in water. At least, that's what I've read. Although it looked like that you had a lot of microworms at the bottom, so much that the fish got confused which to pick :p

  • i have some alike worms that comes from my fish waste....are those consider as micro worm too? and it lives in my fist tank too

  • @albiymaj83 sorry if is too late but for the next time u can just buy them from ebay

  • @Cybersix1980 You can buy them from Ebay tho... there are a lot of sellers of microworms.

  • Are those betta fry? I was feeding my with microworms only, and at the end they didn't develop ventral fins and had swimming anomaly. So after that i never used microworms as primary food, but artemia.

  • I can not find anywhere to buy the Starter Culture .... is there any other way to make these these worms ???

  • Cool! Thanks!
