How on earth can Geraldine Dawson say that autism is part of "the amazing diversity of humans" while working for an organization that is trying to eliminate autism entirely?

As a parent of two young boys with autism, I am extremely pleased to see such changes within society to make living with autism easier.
I had known nothing about the autistic spectrum until my first son was diagnosed at 4 and I felt very over whelmed and saddened by what I kept being told was a life long disability.
I wish I had known then as I do now, that people with autism are capable of anything and everything that so called 'normal' people are capable of! They don't need fixing!

Why would you talk with these people who want to "cure" us! Autism Speaks is a monopolistic company full of Nazi's.

The only thing i would really love to see is, that people beginning to accept us as we are, and not constantly spamming with alternative medicine treatments, really hate those they just feel bad about them selfs not doing anything good to relief us from our pains/hurting etc. etc. it would be much nicer to have people accepting us as human beings, and just being there for comfort and support. i really hate people that don't want to understand this, but that dosnt make them understand it easier.

just a few words from me, hope people will begin to understand, and not nursing they're own selfs and start seing people around them and not being shortsighted.
