Hey all,
my name is Clinton W Salvato. I am a producer who just graduated May, 2010 with an A.S. in Broadcast Production. This presentation is the Production I did for my final production for the program. I am legally blind myself, and found it fitting to do this documentary on the Conklin Center for the Blind. I hope you enjoy the Presentation!
A few Technical notes:
It was originally shot in widescreen, but when being burned to DVD, I forgot to have the engineer set the recorders to 16:9, so video got letter boxed.
The studio portions of the show were shot in HD. The roll in was on Mini DV.
There Was Also a backup Made to BetaCam which was the correct aspect ratio.
The Production never made it to on the air, there were a few technical details : the open/close music I used didn't have broadcast rights. I never was able to find out who to contact for permission.
I had more videos on my page, and by accident when deleting the first bad upload of this video, deleted everything! Youtube has been trying my patience tonight, the first upload was out of sync, the second, had no audio, now I'm hoping this one is the keeper.
I hadn't uploaded this sooner, because at the time of production, Youtube only let me upload 10 minute clips, and I didn't want to cut it in half. Recently my account has been enabled to upload videos past 15 Minutes. Anyone know how I can get an official director's/producer's account with YouTube? Thanks.
