@mdmguyon O.K. I can agree - most (with notification that it's often hard to estimate how many people are there in the pile of ashes). But don't forget that witnesses testimonies are also considered as direct proof in trial. And funny thing - I was talking to my friend, and he told me, that human remains at Treblinka were found lately. I'm not familiarized yet with recent research, but maybe You will got Your "help". I have to check this, to provide more information.

@Florek112 I'd replace "some" (of your victims) with "most." It's a little hard to make an analogy between the dispute about the Holocaust and a murder trial. The defendant would have to be on trial only for killing a certain number of people in a certain way. Evidence of a number of deaths that didn't approach the number at issue and murder weapons other than the method at issue would be irrelevant. Ashes of most of the alleged victims at Treblinka or records of empty trains leaving would help.

@mdmguyon This "Mars" theory looks more like: You're accused of murdering many people, of which some were found in Soviet Union in mass graves, burned remains of others were found in Poland, but we still can't find some of Your victims. Also We have many witnesses telling that they saw You killed them, including Your mates, and just few of Your friends telling that they saw nothing. Also we have few documents ponting You as a guilty one. How do You think - what would be the court judgement?

Where do I say I don't believe Butler? He is not cited - except by revisionists - as a source. That might be because he isn't one.

The primary source for the Hoess capture is actually the army staff who captured him, some of whom gave statements in a newspaper article you've never read, and Hoess himself.

There is no evidence he was fed false information and until you rise above the standards of a mildly interested amateur, you really have nothing but bullshit to work with.
