Parce qu'ici, la bas, prêt de chez eux, loin de leur femmes, de leurs maris, de leurs enfants, de leur parents, des êtres cher.
Ils se battent, certains au prix de leur vie.
Pour que les pleures des enfants Afghans laissent place à de radieux sourires.
Tous ils méritent la liberté, la joie, la tendresse, et un pays libre de toute oppression, de toute guerre, vidé de ses terroriste et faiseur d'orphelins.
Nos soldats, des amis, des voisins, des frères, des sœurs, des fils.... des filles.
De simple connaissance, des amis, des héros pour certains, des inconnus pour d'autre.
Tous peuvent du jour au lendemain sacrifier leur vie pour garantir celle des autres, ils peuvent devenir éternels aux panthéons des héros morts pour la France, mort pour la liberté, mort pour leur idées.
Il ne seront jamais oubliés.

  • @SAS39Chris Very well said Chris! I've posted it in my channel for all my friends to see and understand the essence of being a French Soldier (Soldat de France). I know I can never thank you enough for your time and effort but still from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much indeed.

  • I may not understand the words but the message is clear...support and respect for the Armed Forces fighting for freedom and world peace.

  • 5 : He(It) shows initiative and adapts itself in any circumstances.

    6 : Professional soldier, he train his intelligence and his athletic capacity, increase his skills, his strength and his moral.

    7 : Member of a united and brotherly team, he acts honorably, franchising and loyalty.

    8 : Attentive to the others and determined to surmount the difficulties, he works at the cohesion and the dynamism of his unit.

    9 : Il est ouvert sur le monde et la société et il respecte les différences.

  • 9 : ( sorry ^^) He is open on the world and the society, and he respects the differences.

    10 : He expresses himself distantly not to strike a blow at the neutrality of the armies in philosophic, political and religious subject.

    11 :  He is open on the world and proud of his engagement, he is always and anywhere, an ambassador of his unit, the army, and France.

    I hope i didn't make lot of mistakes, and by the way, i hope you will understand the meaning of my sentences ;)

    I will try to translate as good as i can.

    1 : In the service of France, the soldier is completely devoted to her, any time and in any place.

    2 : He carries out(achieves) his misssion with the will to win and overcome and, if need be at the risk of his life.

    3 : Maitre of his strength, he respect the enemy and watches to spare the population.

    4 : He obeys the orders, in the respect for the laws, the customs of the war and the international agreements.
